The developers of LightIllusion display calibration software have just announced their upcoming new software. They completely rebuilt the code. Eventually, it'll take the place of LightSpace. Click through for details. Release date is not announced.

(video) In their typical breathless headline writing style, NFS hypes the release of Red Giant's Universe 3.0. The highlight is their new text generators, that many editors and VFX peeps will find useful and time-saving. Click through for the embedded video.

(forum) Do you get the odd BluRay request as a deliverable? This thread talks about decent software for authoring simple BD discs. Gotta say, I do NOT miss authoring screeners for clients!
