2019 is in the house!

As we peer ahead into the New Year, one of the things I'm really looking forward to is the continued growth of MixingLight.com. I co-founded that color grading training site in 2013 with colorists Robbie Carman and Dan Moran. The first few years saw slow but steady growth.

The past two years, growth has accelerated and we have big plans for 2019. Our goal is to get our continuing education into more hands, at earlier stages in the careers of the up-and-coming generation.

I'm writing about this for two reasons:

1) Mixing Light is in the middle of a tutorial marathon. We are releasing 25 Insights in the first 25 days of January. Besides featuring the work of your humble Publisher and the fabulous Robbie & Dan, we have 5 other colorists & post professionals contributing their hard-fought wisdom. And since their interests and experiences are wide and varied - so is the tutorial marathon!

2) Mixing Light is running a special offer. Save 20% off the first term of a Quarterly Premium membership. If you're a regular reader of this Newsletter and have been thinking about checking out our website - this is the perfect time to do it!

I couldn't get everything in here from our 2-week break. So we're playing catch-up next week as well. See you then (and on Mixing Light).

Happy Grading!

Random thoughts, tidbits, and fun stuff that caught my attention this week. Maybe it's color grading related. Maybe not. Ya got'ta read to the end of the Newsletter to find out.
