From the Publisher
  • It's one thing to read about the technology that is changing our industry. It's another to see it up close, personal while having access to the people who create and execute the technology.
  • This Tuesday your Tao Newsletter Publisher (and the Treasurer) are heading to Washington DC for one such event.
  • We're heading to DC Color and Ott House Audio for a night of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos demonstrations.
  • Ott House Audio is the East Coast's first near-field certified Dolby Atmos mixing studio.
  • DC Color is Mixing Light's Robbie Carman's color grading studio - and he's just finished installing his Dolby Vision upgrades.
  • If you want to hear Dolby Atmos in a mastering environment then this is your chance!
  • If you want to see the Dolby Vision mastering workflow then this is also your chance!
  • But it's coming up quick: This Tuesday, November 10 from 6p - 9p in Silver Spring, MD. We hope you can join us!
You need to RSVP here: otthouse.splashthat.com
  • Enjoy this week's Newsletter. We'll see you next Sunday.

Happy Grading!
