  • Beta Testers Wanted - RED Rocket Acceleration for Color. The RED team is looking for beta testers of software allowing Apple Color to take advantage of the RED Rocket. "An updated version of the REDcode System Preferences pane is included which adds a tab to control Rocket acceleration in Color." Be sure to read the entire thread. There are some reported problems (it's beta software, people).

  • Are you a fan of Digital Cinema? Then maybe you had better become a huge fan of 3D. Not surprisingly 3D is the main driver of Digital Cinema adoption. Celluloid Junkie has a great wrap-up of the numbers presented at an IBC panel last month, including an estimate of the tipping-point... when digital installs surpass celluloid installs.
